Scott Porman, a.k.a. ScottieP Owner Honestly, where do I start? It's been a whirlwind since we have started
our business, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I have always wanted to own my own business

waterfowl hunting.I started waterfowl
hunting a little over 10 years ago, here
in Lancaster County, where I have lived for most of my life.I am career firefighter in Frederick,
Maryland and former Fire Chief of Rohrerstown Volunteer Fire Company, PA.I'm a graduate of Rochester Institute of
Technology with a degree in Business Management and Emergency Management. In my spare time, which is very far and few
between, I enjoy spending as much time with my wife, Nadine and my daughters,
Ella and Alivia.Our family includes
Abby, 8yr old Yellow Lab, a.k.a. "daddy's girl" and Bosco, 4yr old Yellow Lab
and their soon to be lab sibling in August 2010.Otherwise, let's go Offshore fishing for Tuna
or Marlin!! I don't mind fishing for
Wahoo or Sailfish when I'm in Florida or even Inshore for Stripers in Maryland
and Delaware.Some of my favorite
places to Waterfowl Hunt are in Canada, Maryland and Delaware.I am a member of Ducks Unlimited, Delta
Waterfowl and Union Sportsman's Alliance. We couldn't have started this store without the support of all of our
friends and family......but most of all our customers!! I hope you will take the
opportunity to get to know each and every one of us and become a part of the
Waterfowlers family , if you haven't already. We are
here to help you with all of your hunting needs and will do everything we can
to make your waterfowling experience the best it can be!
Kendra Nealon Owner
Jeff Riebling Owner I began waterfowl hunting in 1993 at the
age of 28. I joined a local NAHRA
affiliated retriever club (Northern Piedmont)
and through the group began a passion for waterfowl. I always had an interest in waterfowl, but
since my father didn't hunt waterfowl, I never pursued it. I currently reside in Thomasville, PA with my
wife, Cheryl, and children, Kyle and Faith. In my spare time I enjoy working
out, and dabble in decoy carving. I currently have 3 labs. Kali is an 9 year old chocolate female. She was purchased from a friend of mine,
Trish Jagoda, of Silverbrook Kennels in Virginia. Kali has attained several hunt test titles in
her career. She is an AKC Master Hunter,
NAHRA Grand Master Hunter Champion (1,000 point dog) and has passed both RAW
events she has entered. She has the
title of Hunting Retriever Champion in the UKC test circuit. In addition, Kali has twice been a finalist
in the Maryland
Gun Dog Championship. She accompanied me
to Saskatchewan in 2008 for an awesome waterfowl hunt, picking up over 150
birds in 4 days. Tank is a son of Kali.
He is a 4 year old black lab.
Tank is a Grand Master Hunter in the NAHRA program. He has over 400 points accumulated currently
heading towards his 1,000. Tank has also
been a finalist in the Maryland Gun Dog Championship. Patch is also a son of Kali and Tank's
brother. Patch is a 4 year old chocolate
lab. He has earned his NAHRA Master
Hunter title and is currently moving closer to his Grand Master Hunter
title. All 3 dogs enjoy upland as well
as waterfowl hunting. I have taken
waterfowl hunting trips to Canada, Virginia, & Maryland's Eastern
Shore. This coming January I will be
headed to Texas for a duck hunting trip on the
GulfCoast.
By far, the Saskatchewan trip has been my favorite to date. My waterfowl hunting career began in the
fields of Adams and York County in Pennsylvania pursuing Canada geese. I am currently a member of the following
organizations: Union Sportsmen of North America, Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowlers,
Susquehanna Waterfowlers Association, West Manchester Fish and Game
Association, North American Hunting Retriever Association, & Northern
Piedmont Retriever Club. I have been
past President and a Board Member of Northern Piedmont. And now I am an owner of Waterfowlers Inc.......What a journey!!
Jayson Wilt Guide Manager I have been waterfowling since the age of 10. Mywaterfowling experiences started out on the Eastern shore of Maryland near the town of Galena and on the Susquehanna River near my home in Duncannon Pennsylvania. Now 25 years later waterfowling has become my true passion in life. And for me theseason never ends. I start each year in September pursuing resident Canada Geese and finish in late January pursing all species of waterfowl along the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The months in between are spent in my home state of Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. During this time I spend nearly everyday in the field, marsh or on the water. There are truly no days off for me. The months of February thru August I find myself engaged innumerous waterfowl activities from contest calling toconservation work through the Susquehanna River Waterfowlers Association, including constructing nesting habitat, youth education, and bandingprojects, and of course chasing turkeys in the spring mountains of Perry County PA. Along with that I am currently a member of the Foiles Migrators GoldStaff, Hevi-shot Pro-Staff, Big Foot Decoy Pro Staff and Rigem Right Pro-Staff and have a schedule of in store seminars and calling clinics. I have been equally blessed with a loving family who supports my busy schedule and waterfowl lifestyle.
Noah Faulkner Pro-Staffer Noah
Faulkner did not start his hunting career in search of squirrels or rabbits
like the stereotypical young hunter. Instead, his first hunting experience was
inside a pit blind with his grandfather. That experience turned the Columbia
resident into a passionate waterfowl hunter. Now that more than 14 years have
passed since that first outing, Faulkner has climbed the ranks from novice to
flat-out expert. He says there is nothing like seeing a flock of geese locked
up and heading for the decoys. He should know. After spending more than 55 days
in the field each season, it's a sight Faulkner sees frequently. You
don't become as successful as Faulkner without doing your homework. When it
comes to finding waterfowl, he knows where to look. It takes time mileage to
pattern late-season honkers. Faulkner puts hundreds of miles on his rig each
year scouting his favorite fields in Lebanon, Berks, Dauphin, Lancaster and
Cumberland Counties. If you want to know
where the geese are or how to entice them to land in your spread instead of the
competition's decoys, talk to Faulkner. But I warn you, his passion is
contagious.
Andy Snyder Pro-Staffer For Andy Snyder, waterfowl hunting isn't so
much about the fowl, but the water. The York County native is equally at home
on the water as he is on land. He should be. As a seasoned captain and fishing
guide, Snyder often spends more than 150 days on the water each year. He grew up fishing the salty water of the
Mid-Atlantic coast and spent time as one of the region's youngest charter
captains. In 2007, his adventurous spirit took him to the frigid waters of
Alaska, where he spent two seasons at a remote lodge, catching giant halibut
and salmon in the salt and flying to isolated lakes for trout, arctic char and
even more salmon. Now that he is home on
the East Coast, the author and columnist has refueled his passion for hunting,
spending nearly three dozen days afield during the past season. Waterfowl
hunting offers the perfect mix of water and gunpowder to keep Snyder's
addiction at bay. If you need advice on boats, gear or local waterways, Snyder
is your go-to guy.
Zach Altland Pro-Staffer
Most hunters can only dream of spending as much time in a
blind as Lancaster native Zach Altland does. This seasoned waterfowler spends
over a hundred days each year surrounded by decoys and his trusty chocolate
lab, Saige, in search of geese and ducks. While his favorite spot to layout his spread is a
stubble-cut corn field, the seasoned hunter, with over a decade of experience
under his belt is equally at home hunting out of his kayak. After a cousin was tragically killed in a waterfowling
incident on the Chesapeake Bay, Altland dedicated his hunting career to the
fallen family member. It has been a magical ride ever since, with countless
birds falling prey to his taunting spread each year. Most never get the chance
to leave. But the sportsmen's drive runs deep in Altland. He is not
just a waterfowling expert. This guy can fish, too. He proved his talent as a
Junior Pro Bass Fisherman. If you need to know where the birds are flying, how
they're decoying or even if the fish are biting, this talented outdoorsman is
your man.
Brian Kendall Pro-Staffer Brian has hunting in his blood. He was born into a 4th generation
of running hounds and hunting since the age of 12, currently running his own
business of hunting coons with walker coonhounds. His hunting began here in Pennsylvania and has
included experiences with hunting bear with hounds and waterfowl guiding. His biggest senses of hunting accomplishments
are guiding hunters, along with introducing youth to waterfowl hunting. Brian currently resides in Carlisle, PA. When he isn't hunting, he enjoys spending
time with his son, Dustin, watching him compete in the AMA Pro Motorcross
Series. Brian's waterfowl hunting has
taken him to New York, West Virginia and his favorite spot, Maryland. If you ask him, he will be sure to tell you
that any waterfowl day in the field , he can write off as a good day in the field!!! In addition to Brian's walker coonhounds,
he also hunts with Goose, a yellow lab. Brian is a member of NRA, Ducks
Unlimited, SRWA, Mount Holly Fish & Game, and Professional Kennel
Club.
Andrew Mercer Pro-Staffer Hunting has always piqued Andrew's curiosity, but he was
never exposed to it growing up.When he
found out that he was going to have his first son, now 2, Andrew decided to
take the "plunge" and attempt, as an adult, to learn waterfowling.Andrew
currently resides in Lititz, PA with his wonderful and supportive wife and son.Andrew's family also includes his 2 teenage
girls, who reside in AZ, but love to come back east and check on dad's new
hunting skills!! Although Andrew is new
to waterfowl hunting, he has already had the opportunity to hunt waterfowl in
Maryland and Northern California. In his spare time, Andrew works hard to keep
his yellow lab, Drake, up-to-speed with his hunting skills and training through
both the Waterfowlers Dog Training Division and Delta Dogs.Andrew is a member of Ducks Unlimited, NRA
and he is both a committee member and secretary for the Lancaster Chapter of
Delta Waterfowl.
Jason Topper Pro-Staffer Born and raised in Lancaster County, PA, Jason started
waterfowl hunting at the age of 12.Jason first started hunting in Chester, PA, but has extended his
waterfowl hunting experiences to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and as far as
Ontario Canada, in addition to Lancaster County of course! You will always find Jason's 6 year old Weimaramer,
Shadow, right by his side.In Jason's
spare time, he enjoys firefighting and spending time with his wife and
sons.Jason is currently on the Tim
Grounds "Grounds Crew" and Drake Waterfowl Field Expert Team.
